Effortless Balsamic Beef Delight

Effortless Balsamic Beef Delight

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chuck roast
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, dried rosemary, and dried thyme.
  3. Season the chuck roast generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chuck roast and sear on both sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Pour the balsamic vinegar mixture over the seared chuck roast in the skillet.
  6. Cover the skillet or Dutch oven with a lid or aluminum foil and transfer it to the preheated oven.
  7. Let the roast cook in the oven for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until it is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  8. Once cooked, remove the skillet or Dutch oven from the oven. Allow the roast to rest for a few minutes.
  9. Slice or shred the beef, then serve it with the balsamic glaze from the skillet spooned over the top. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  10. Enjoy your Effortless Balsamic Beef Delight with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
