How to Make Limoncello (Italian recipe)

Refreshing Limoncello- Easy to follow recipe. This recipe is made with Everclear alcohol. Lemon peels are infused with alcohol for 3 weeks and mixed with simple syrup and let it age for another 2 weeks.

Serve cold.

Ingredients:

15 Lemons (peel only)

2 Everclear

75% proof alcohol

6 1/3 water

5 cups sugar

One of Italy’s most famous product is their Limoncello. Families have passed down recipes for generations, as every one has their own Limoncello recipe!

In fact, this lemon drink is now considered the national drink of Italy and can be found in stores and restaurants.

This lemon drink is wonderful as a palate cleanser or as an after-dinner drink.  It is always served well chilled in the summer months.
