Uma Thurman Proposes Gifting Her Iconic ‘Kill Bill’ Suit to Drake

Uma Thurman offered to lend a helping hand to Drake amidst his ongoing rap feuds, after the rapper used a ‘Kill Bill’ meme to depict his current adversarial position in the rap world.

On Sunday, the actress took to her Instagram Story to post a picture of her blood-stained yellow costume from ‘Kill Bill’ with the caption, “Need this? @champagnepapi.”

Rick Ross noticed Thurman’s post and humorously inquired about the suit’s fit for himself, commenting on Instagram, “Think it fit me?”

The Maybach Music Group leader had recently intensified his feud with Drake by releasing a diss track just hours after Drake dropped “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me Fifty),” a song addressing his detractors. In his track “Champagne Moments,” Ross accused Drake of having cosmetic surgery on his nose and explained his decision to unfollow him on Instagram, alleging that Drake had sent French Montana a cease and desist letter to prevent his vocals from appearing on a song.

Shortly after Thurman’s post circulated, Drake quickly responded with his own Instagram story.

“Yes pls,” he wrote, adding, “The pen is Hattori Hanzo.”

Hattori Hanzo is a character from ‘Kill Bill’ renowned for forging the sword used by Beatrix Kiddo to seek vengeance against the film’s villains. Given that Kiddo uses the sword to eliminate several adversaries, Drake’s reference is clear. The yellow suit itself pays tribute to the one worn by Bruce Lee in ‘Game of Death.’

This exchange followed Drake’s post of an image from ‘Kill Bill’ featuring Thurman as Beatrix Kiddo preparing to battle the Crazy 88 gang, which appeared to symbolize his readiness to confront music industry heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, and Metro Boomin in one of the most discussed rap conflicts recently.
