Arnold Schwarzenegger reassured fans that his recent pacemaker surgery, aimed at managing his irregular heartbeat, will not hinder his participation in the upcoming season of “FUBAR” on Netflix.

“A lot of people have asked if my pacemaker will affect FUBAR season 2. Under no circumstances,” he stated confidently. “I’ll be ready to shoot in April, and you won’t notice it unless you’re really looking for it.”

Having recently disclosed his surgery to obtain the pacemaker, Schwarzenegger shared that this procedure followed three prior heart operations. Despite the challenges, he emphasized his excellent recovery, mentioning on his podcast, “I want you to know that I’m doing great. I had my surgery on Monday, and by Friday I was already at a big event with Jane Fonda.”

Expressing gratitude, Schwarzenegger thanked his medical team at the Cleveland Clinic for their exceptional care throughout his journey.

Arnold Schwarzenegger underwent his initial heart surgery back in 1997, marking the beginning of a series of cardiac interventions. In 2018 and 2020, he faced the need to replace his valves once again. Schwarzenegger attributed his irregular heartbeat to scarring resulting from his previous surgeries.

Reflecting on his journey, Schwarzenegger revealed that his mother’s passing in 1998 served as a poignant reminder to prioritize his health. Her untimely death, stemming from a lack of necessary surgery, instilled in him a steadfast commitment to vigilance regarding his own well-being.

“I stayed in touch with my doctors and had checkups every year,” he disclosed. “This is life with a genetic heart problem. But you won’t hear me complain.”

Schwarzenegger’s resilience and proactive approach underscore his determination to navigate his health challenges with grace and fortitude.
