Tears and Respect Flow as 96-Year-Old WWII Veteran Sings National Anthem

At the opening of a baseball game in Michigan, a 96-year-old WWII veteran sang the US national anthem, uniting Americans in their struggles and progress.

John Pylman stood on the grass in the baseball field, gripping the mic stand and removing his cap in honor of his country. His patriotism defied age, and as he prepared to sing, the baseball fans joined him.

John Pylman was composed as he began singing the national anthem. He sang with zeal, his voice reverberating with patriotism, and the crowd followed suit. He sang heartily, like a child, his pitch rising with the second line. The US flag, hanging high in a section of the field, deepened John’s pride in his country with its bright stars and broad stripes.

Some baseball fans placed their fists over their hearts, pledging allegiance, honesty, and respect for their country. Though they weren’t singing with John, they were all united. Some baseball players stood gallantly on the open field, arms over their hearts, as John’s melody prepped them for a great game.

As John reached the end of the anthem, the fans erupted in applause. The old veteran gave a salute, marking the perfect opening for the baseball game.
