Reba, Miranda, and Lainey Set the ACM Stage on Fire with ‘Trailblazer’ Powerhouse Performance
|The 2025 ACM Awards lit up when Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, and Lainey Wilson took the stage for the debut live performance of their powerful new collaboration, “Trailblazer.”
Dressed in matching brown suede and turquoise, the trio stood against a backdrop of the open road — a fitting symbol for the anthem they delivered. Trading lines and locking harmonies, they sang “Talk about a trailblazer… I’m rolling down the road you paved,” in tribute to country music’s legendary women, name-dropping Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and Tammy Wynette.
The song, co-written by Lambert, Wilson, and Brandy Clark, was produced by McEntire with Tony Brown and Steve Marcantonio. And yes, it was as fierce and heartfelt as it sounds.
McEntire — now hosting the ACMs for the 18th time since 1986 — is no stranger to iconic moments. Last year, she premiered “I Can’t” at the show, and in 2024, shared the Stagecoach spotlight with Lambert. “I’d love to tour with Miranda,” Reba recently told Variety. “She’s got sass and fire — I love that.”
Meanwhile, Wilson arrived as one of the night’s top contenders with nominations for Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist, Artist-Songwriter, Album of the Year (Whirlwind), and more. Lambert and McEntire, both ACM powerhouses, boast a combined 31 wins and 123 nominations.
