Lainey Wilson Is Coming Back to Host the CMA Awards
Lainey Wilson is returning to the stage for one of country music’s biggest nights. She will host the CMA Awards live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 18, 2026, marking her third consecutive year as host. And this year is especially important.

The CMA Awards are celebrating their 60th anniversary, making Wilson’s return part of a major milestone for country music.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be hosting the CMA Awards again this year, especially with it being the 60th anniversary,” Wilson said.
She first hosted the show in 2024 alongside Luke Bryan. Last year, she took on the role by herself — and now she’s back for another year as solo host.
Wilson announced the news during ESPN’s College GameDay, which was broadcasting from LSU in her home state of Louisiana.
But there’s another reason this year’s ceremony could be especially emotional for longtime country fans.
With the CMA Awards celebrating six decades of country music, fans may see a special tribute to Dolly Parton, who made history in 1988 as the first woman to host the CMA Awards solo.
The nominees for the 60th annual CMA Awards will be announced September 10 on Good Morning America.
Then, on November 18, Nashville will once again become the center of the country music world.
Sixty years of unforgettable performances, legendary artists and country music history — with Lainey Wilson leading the celebration.
