Erika Kirk & Turning Point USA Share Emotional Tribute on What Would’ve Been Charlie Kirk’s 32nd Birthday
Today marks what would have been Charlie Kirk’s 32nd birthday, and his wife Erika Kirk joined Turning Point USA in sharing a touching tribute to the conservative leader whose influence continues to shape generations.
Remembering Charlie Kirk
On September 10, conservative commentator and Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk was tragically shot and killed while speaking at a college campus in Orem, Utah.
Charlie co-founded Turning Point USA back in 2012, driven by a mission to inspire young Americans to value free speech, liberty, and limited government. According to the organization’s website, TPUSA exists to “identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government.”
In the days following his assassination, the U.S. Senate passed a resolution establishing a National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk, set to take place on his birthday — October 14, 2025.
“Mr. Kirk consistently promoted the values of individual liberty, open debate, the importance of civic engagement, and the defense of constitutional principles,” the resolution reads.
Erika Kirk’s Touching Tribute
On Monday, Erika shared an emotional video across social media titled “Happy Birthday, Charlie.”
Narrated in her own voice, the tribute shows tender moments of Charlie with Erika and their two children — a celebration of love, faith, and family that defined his life.
“He was the perfect father, he was the perfect husband,” Erika says in the video. “Charlie always believed that God’s design for marriage and family was absolutely amazing.”
She went on to encourage young people — the same audience her husband devoted his life to — to pursue the same kind of joy and fulfillment Charlie found in his faith and family.
“He wanted everyone to know the beauty of a God-centered marriage, and the happiness that comes from living out that purpose,” she added.
His Legacy Lives On
Charlie’s influence continues to echo through Turning Point USA and the millions of young people he inspired to stand up for freedom and faith.
Though gone too soon, his message remains — one of courage, conviction, and love for both God and country.
