Trump’s Blunt Two-Word Remark to Biden Revealed During Inauguration

A lip reader has revealed a blunt two-word remark that Donald Trump made to Joe Biden during his inauguration ceremony.

Trump was sworn in as the 47th U.S. president on January 20, marking the start of his second term with the Republican Party. The traditional inauguration ceremony, symbolizing the transition of power, took place at the White House, where Biden and his wife, Jill, welcomed Trump and Melania.

Months before the event, speculation about Biden’s health led to his withdrawal from the presidential race in July, at the age of 82, for the sake of his party and the country. He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor.

Trump secured 312 electoral votes, leading to his re-election. Since his inauguration, he has swiftly enacted executive orders, reversing many of Biden’s policies. Among the actions taken were pardons for over 1,500 individuals involved in the U.S. Capitol riot of January 6, 2021, and the announcement of the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, which aims to combat rising temperatures.

Trump also reinstated oil drilling in the Arctic, reversing Biden’s 2023 ban. He declared, “We will be a rich nation again, and it is that liquid gold under our feet that will help to do it.” Furthermore, Trump signed an order recognizing only two genders—male and female—and declared that they cannot be changed.

In his inaugural speech, Trump announced, “As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female.” He also shared plans to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and revert Alaska’s Denali to Mount McKinley, a name change that President Barack Obama had made in 2015.

During the inauguration, Trump and Biden exchanged words before the ceremony. With temperatures freezing, the event was moved indoors to the Capitol’s Rotunda. A lip reader, Jeremy Freeman, interpreted an interaction between the two leaders as they posed for a photo opportunity. Freeman revealed that Biden greeted Trump with “Welcome home,” to which Trump responded, “How are you? It’s so cold. I need to do my coat up I’m freezing.” After Biden agreed that it was cold, Freeman claims Trump jokingly said, “Shut up, Biden.” Trump then mentioned, “It’s colder than when we ski,” and Biden responded, “It’s hello,” before expressing his intent to go inside.

Trump later discovered a farewell letter from Biden in the Oval Office, but only after a journalist reminded him to look for it.
