Scotty McCreery & Wife Gabi Welcome Their Second Child – Meet Baby Oliver

Country star Scotty McCreery and his wife, Gabi, are officially a family of four! The couple, who first shared in May that they were expecting another little one, announced the arrival of their second son with a heartfelt post and adorable family snapshots.

Their firstborn, Merrick “Avery,” who turns three in October, helped reveal the exciting news earlier this year with a caption that hinted at a baby brother on the way: “A new best friend coming this fall! 💙💙” And the guess was right!

On September 23, Gabi introduced their newest addition to the world:
“Oliver Cooke McCreery joined our family on September 18th. Can’t imagine life without him, we love him so berry much!!”

Her playful “berry” pun was inspired by a sweet family moment. Just days before Oliver’s birth, Scotty joked in an interview that Avery wanted to name his baby brother after his favorite Bojangles treat – the Bo-Berry Biscuit. The inside joke carried through to Gabi’s baby shower, where Bo-Berry Biscuits were even served.

As for Oliver’s middle name, Cooke comes with family meaning – it’s Scotty’s mother Judy’s maiden name.
