Miranda Lambert Chosen To Close America’s Historic 250th Birthday Celebration — Massive Free Festival Expected To Draw Record Crowds
America is turning 250 years old, and the country is preparing for a celebration unlike anything fans have seen before.
St. Louis has officially announced the full lineup for its massive “Celebrate 250” festival taking place beneath the iconic Gateway Arch — and the biggest headline of all is Miranda Lambert closing out the nation’s birthday celebration on July 4.

The two-day event is expected to attract enormous crowds from all over the country with live music, fireworks, drone shows, food, parades, and patriotic celebrations along the Mississippi River.
And surprisingly, the entire festival is completely free to attend.
Miranda Lambert Chosen For The Biggest Moment Of The Weekend
As soon as organizers announced Miranda Lambert as the July 4 headliner, country music fans flooded social media with excitement.
Many called the country superstar the perfect artist to close out such a historic American milestone.
Known for hits like “The House That Built Me,” “Gunpowder & Lead,” and “Mama’s Broken Heart,” Lambert has built a career around powerful storytelling, emotional performances, and high-energy live shows.
Now, she’s preparing to headline one of the largest Independence Day celebrations in recent memory.
As the sun sets on America’s 250th birthday, Miranda will take the stage beneath the Gateway Arch to deliver what many expect will be one of the most emotional and unforgettable performances of the summer.
Night One Will Feature Ludacris, Zedd, And A Massive Drone Show
The celebration officially begins on July 3 with an energetic opening night featuring electronic artist Big Wild, rap icon Ludacris, and global DJ sensation Zedd.
But the music is only part of the experience.
After the concerts end, the sky above the Mississippi River will come alive with a massive 1,500-drone light show designed to create patriotic images over downtown St. Louis.
The drone performance will then lead directly into a huge fireworks spectacular surrounding the Gateway Arch.
Organizers say it will be one of the largest visual productions ever created for a Fourth of July celebration in the city.
July 4 Brings A Completely Different Energy
While July 3 focuses on high-energy performances and electronic music, the Fourth of July lineup shifts into a more emotional Americana atmosphere.
Stephen Marley will open the evening with reggae music before legendary singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins takes the stage to perform some of his most iconic hits.
Then Miranda Lambert will close the festival during the grand finale of the nation’s birthday celebration.
Fans are already predicting thousands of people singing along beneath the Arch as fireworks light up the St. Louis skyline one final time.
More Than Just Concerts
In addition to the live performances, the city will also host the 142nd America’s Birthday Parade along Market Street, antique car shows, Innovation Village exhibits, family attractions, food vendors, and interactive activities throughout the weekend.
Gates open at 4 PM both days, and officials are expecting one of the biggest crowds St. Louis has seen in years.

The Biggest Fourth Of July Celebration In America?
With a star-studded lineup, massive fireworks displays, drone shows, and Miranda Lambert headlining beneath one of the country’s most recognizable landmarks, many fans are already calling Celebrate 250 the biggest Fourth of July event of the year.
And for country music fans, it may become one of those unforgettable nights people talk about for years to come.
