Kate Middleton and Prince William Share Stunning Unseen Wedding Portrait for 13th Anniversary Celebration

Prince William and Kate Middleton are commemorating their 13th anniversary with the release of an exclusive wedding portrait.

This morning, the couple shared the photo on their official social media platforms, captioned, “13 years ago today.” The captivating black-and-white image captures Kate in her renowned Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen white lace wedding gown. Adorned with her floor-length veil, topped with the Cartier Halo Tiara borrowed from Queen Elizabeth, Kate holds her elegant lily of the valley bouquet.

Prince William opts for his sleek black uniform of the Blues, a departure from the Irish Guards uniform he wore during the ceremony. Standing proudly behind his radiant bride, he gently places his hands on her waist. The newlyweds beam at the camera, their joy captured against the majestic backdrop of the palace.

Prince William and Princess Kate exchanged vows in front of the world on April 29, 2011, in a grand ceremony held at Westminster Abbey. Since then, they have been blessed with three children: Prince George, aged 10, Princess Charlotte, aged 8, and Prince Louis, aged 5.

The couple’s 13th anniversary arrives just weeks after Kate Middleton’s announcement of her cancer battle. In a pre-recorded video on March 22, the 42-year-old revealed the news, refraining from disclosing the cancer type or specific details but mentioning that the diagnosis followed unrelated abdominal surgery in January.

“This anniversary is undoubtedly the most bittersweet for William and Kate,” commented Christopher Andersen, author of “The King,” to Fox News Digital. “Their bond is stronger than ever, they cherish their three beautiful children – and now they confront the most significant challenge of their marriage.”

As Kate Middleton undergoes “preventive chemotherapy,” she has temporarily stepped back from her royal responsibilities.
