To make the move permanent they had to let go of the life they had built in California. That meant listing their eight bedroom Beverly Hills mansion, eventually dropping the asking price from over twenty two million dollars to just under nineteen million to move the process along. Selling it was not a loss, at least not to Eva. It was the last thing tying her to a version of her life she had already decided to leave behind.

Their new home in Marbella is a large estate purchased in early 2023 and fully renovated to suit the family. Six bedrooms, an indoor pool, a private sauna, a home gym, and interiors designed in close collaboration with architect and designer Nicolás Escanez. The goal was not luxury for its own sake but a home that actually felt like a sanctuary.

The move also carries a deeper personal meaning for Eva. She holds Spanish citizenship and has family roots in the Oviedo region, for which she was awarded an honorary title. Spain was never just a place she admired from a distance. She first visited the coast more than twenty years ago and told herself then that she would live there one day.

She kept that promise.

Her days now look nothing like they did in Los Angeles. No traffic, no packed schedules, no constant professional obligations. Instead there are paddle tennis matches with friends, afternoons at the beach with her son, and casual evenings with people she actually wants to spend time with.
