Toby Keith’s Son, Stelen, Welcomes First Child With Wife Haley

The Covel family has a brand-new reason to celebrate! On August 15, Haley Covel joyfully announced that she and her husband, Stelen Keith Covel—the only son of the late country music legend Toby Keith—had officially welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby girl named Millie Brooks Covel.

The proud parents, who tied the knot in November 2021, had shared their pregnancy news back on February 13, 2025, with a sweet photo holding ultrasound pictures and the caption: “Baby Covel coming this summer 🐣.”

A Special Celebration Before Millie’s Arrival

On May 29, Stelen’s sisters, Shelley and Krystal, threw Haley a gorgeous baby shower. Guests enjoyed stunning décor and desserts, including custom pink cookies by Brown Egg Bakery—featuring cowboy hats, onesies, and bows—all hinting that a baby girl was on the way (though the family hadn’t revealed it yet!).

When the big moment finally came, the Covels kept it simple and heartfelt. Their post read:
“Millie is here 💕 We love you so much little girl.”
The announcement was paired with a tender hospital photo of baby Millie swaddled peacefully, her name proudly displayed on a banner above her bassinet.

Stelen’s Place in the Keith Legacy

Stelen is the youngest of Toby Keith’s three children and his only son. Though Toby’s stage name made him a household legend, his legal last name was Covel—which explains why his kids share it. Toby and his wife, Tricia Covel, are also parents to daughters Shelley and Krystal Keith, who has followed in her father’s footsteps as a performer.

The siblings have remained close and united, especially after Toby Keith’s heartbreaking passing on February 5, 2024, following his battle with stomach cancer.

Now, baby Millie carries the family name forward—bringing joy, hope, and healing to a family still deeply cherished by country music fans everywhere.
