At 62 years old, legendary actor Hugh Laurie was spotted strolling in the sun with his cherished dog. He didn’t appear to be the lively man he usually was.

For the premiere of his new sitcom, “Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?,” Hugh dressed warmly in black pants and sneakers, a navy sweater, and a dark blue cap.

Known for his iconic roles in “House” and “Blackadder,” Hugh Laurie is now working on a new murder mystery series based on Agatha Christie’s 1934 thriller of the same name.

Hollywood’s top personalities can be seen in the star-studded cast, and the series seems to be an intriguing adaptation of one of Christie’s most well-known works.

Will Poulter portrays Bobby Jones, the son of a vicar, while Lucy Boynton takes on the role of Lady Frances Derwent, his fearless companion. Together, the two investigate a mysterious murder.

Jim Broadbent and Emma Thompson play the noble parents of Lady Frances, adding even more prestige to the cast.

Hugh Laurie plays Dr. James Nicholson, a psychologist, in the miniseries, and also serves as the show’s director.

He expressed his excitement about working on this project, mentioning that he has been a fan of the novel and its fascinating mystery since he was a teenager. The story continues to capture his interest to this day.
