‘America’s Got Talent’ Crowns Season 19 Winner

Season 19 of *America’s Got Talent* has officially come to a close, with a new champion crowned during Tuesday night’s exciting two-hour finale.

The season finale of *America’s Got Talent* was a star-studded event, featuring appearances from Michael Bublé, Andra Day, Simone Biles, members of Journey, and more. Alongside these special guests, the night included encore performances from this season’s 10 talented finalists: aerialists Sebastian and Sonia, dance team AIRFOOTWORKS, Hakuna Matata Acrobats, singer DeeDee Simon, dance group Brent Street, comedian Learnmore Jonasi, vocalist Richard Goodall, dog-and-human dance duo Roni Sagi & Rhythm, drone act Sky Elements, and quick-change magician Solange Kardinaly.

Richard Goodall, affectionately known as “The Singing Janitor,” was the fan-favorite to win, though some viewers questioned if he was prepared to take on the role of a Las Vegas headliner, one of the grand prizes awarded to the champion. Earlier in the season, Goodall shared that if he won, he planned to retire and move to Florida with his now-wife, Angie, whom he married just last week following the finals.

Throughout Tuesday’s show, host Terry Crews gradually revealed the results, narrowing the field until only the Top 5 remained: Sky Elements, Learnmore, Richard Goodall, Solange Kardinaly, and Roni & Rhythm.

Earlier in the night, Richard Goodall took the stage alongside rock legends Journey to perform “Don’t Stop Believin’,” the same song that earned him the coveted Golden Buzzer during his audition. Throughout his journey on *AGT*, Goodall remained loyal to his love of ’80s music, delivering powerful covers of two Journey classics, Michael Bolton’s “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” and Survivor’s iconic “Eye of the Tiger.”
