Vanna White bids an emotional farewell to Pat Sajak ahead of his final show

Vanna White shared a touching tribute to her “brother” Pat Sajak on the eve of his final episode hosting “Wheel of Fortune.”

The pre-recorded message was broadcast during Thursday night’s show.

“I can’t believe that tomorrow is our last show together,” White, 67, expressed in the video. “I’m at a loss for words to describe what these past 41 years have meant to me, but I’m going to try.”

“Eight thousand episodes just flew by.”

The duo started hosting “America’s Game” together in 1982 when the show first began airing in syndication.

They have since become one of television’s most iconic pairs.

“Over the years, we’ve not only grown up on television, but we’ve also shared countless moments off the air,” she reflected, recalling the pair’s more personal memories.

“What an incredible and unforgettable journey it’s been. I’ve cherished every minute of it with you,” White continued, her voice wavering with emotion. “You’re like a brother to me, and I truly consider you a lifelong friend whom I will always adore. I love you, Pat.”

After the segment concluded, the two embraced in a heartfelt hug on stage.

You can watch Vanna White’s entire message to Pat Sajak, 77, in the video below.

Although Sajak will be retiring from Wheel of Fortune, White will continue her job through at least the 2025-2026 season.

I will certainly miss Pat Sajak as the host, but I can’t wait to see what Ryan Seacrest brings to the show!
