Tucker Wetmore and Ella Langley have been at the center of dating rumors, but as of right now, neither country star has publicly confirmed that they’re actually together.

And when Tucker was given the perfect opportunity to finally clear things up, he still didn’t give fans a straight answer.

Over the weekend, before his show at WAVE in Wichita, Kansas, Tucker took part in a pre-show Q&A, where fans gathered to ask him questions about his music, career and personal life.

One fan decided to skip the usual questions and go straight for the rumor everyone has been wondering about.

“So there’s a rumor going around that you and Ms. Ella Langley are a thing. Can you confirm?”

Tucker appeared genuinely caught off guard. After sitting silently for a few seconds while the crowd laughed, he finally gave a very short response:

“Umm… next question.”

And that was it.

Tucker didn’t confirm that he and Ella are dating — but he didn’t exactly deny it either.

That, of course, was enough to send fans into detective mode.

Comments under the video included reactions like “I think we have our answer,” “That’s a yes!!” and “He’s not denying it.”

Still, it’s important to remember that Tucker’s response isn’t confirmation. Until either Tucker or Ella publicly addresses the rumors, their relationship status remains speculation.

But his decision to simply say “next question” instead of shutting the rumor down has definitely given fans plenty to talk about.
