Two Years After Bob Saget’s Passing, Widow Kelly Rizzo Finds Love Again with a Familiar Face

Kelly Rizzo has started dating two years after the unexpected passing of Saget. The beloved “Full House” star was found deceased on January 9, 2022, in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 65. His death was later attributed to accidental head trauma.

As recently as March of last year, Rizzo stated that she was not yet open to dating, more than a year after Saget’s death. She shared her feelings during a “14.5 month grief check-in” on her Instagram.

When a fan asked if she was dating again following her husband’s sudden passing, she responded, “OK, here we go. I have gotten this question hundreds of times since the beginning.”

At that time, she confirmed that she had not started dating again.

“No, I have not. I have not. I have not,” she emphasized. “I couldn’t even think about that. It wasn’t even in my psyche to consider dating, and the thought of anything serious anytime soon was too much to process. It’s just so complicated, with so many emotions attached.”

Although she wasn’t ready to date then, she expressed openness to the possibility of companionship in the future. “I will say, it does get a little bit lonely, so the thought of something simple like a coffee or a hike, I’d be open to that,” she shared. “But yeah, there’s a lot of ins, a lot of outs, a lot of what have you,” the widow remarked.

Kelly Rizzo has recently made a public appearance with her new partner, Breckin Meyer. The couple was spotted together at the Jam for Janie GRAMMY Awards Viewing Party held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, posing for photos and walking the red carpet with their arms around each other.

Breckin Meyer may look familiar to many as he is a well-known actor, featured in several high-profile projects including the movie “Clueless” and the live-action “Garfield” movies.

44-year-old Rizzo chose a body-hugging leopard-print dress paired with high-knee black leather boots for the event, while Meyer opted for a more relaxed style in gray khakis and a gray denim jacket over a gray t-shirt. Media outlets have confirmed that the two are indeed dating.
