Dolly’s niece, Rebecca Seaver, discovered the trunk while helping collect items for the family archive. In 2024, an archive manager finally opened it and found something incredible inside: Dolly’s wedding dress, old photographs, and other personal memories from her life with Carl.

Now these photographs offer something much more personal.
