Not long ago, Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner’s marriage radiated strength. However, today, after a bitter separation marked by a protracted legal battle and public exchanges, they’ve firmly moved on.

Just last month, news surfaced about Costner potentially finding new love, and it seems his ex-wife is not lagging behind in the realm of budding romances.

Reports suggest that Costner was taken aback by Christine Baumgartner’s decision to file for divorce in May of last year (2023), initiating a downward spiral in their relationship.

In early May, Christine filed divorce papers, citing “irreconcilable differences,” ending their 18-year marriage. A spokesperson for Costner expressed regret over the circumstances, noting that external factors necessitated his participation in the dissolution of the marriage.

After Baumgartner’s filing, a bitter feud erupted between her and Costner. She was obliged to vacate the family home per a prenuptial agreement, while Costner was directed to pay $63,209 monthly in child support for their three children.

Undoubtedly, both Kevin and Christine are eager to leave 2023 behind. However, amidst the turmoil, there were whispers of love blossoming again, if certain media outlets are to be believed.

According to TMZ, Costner began a romance with US singer Jewel late last year. The couple reportedly flew to the Caribbean together, with one insider noting, “There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up.”

Another source added, “You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on.”

Coincidentally, Costner’s ex-wife is now also under the spotlight of similar speculation, with the Daily Mail strongly hinting that she may have found a new flame in her life.

Months after finalizing her divorce from Kevin, Baumgartner has reportedly been spotted once again with well-known financier Josh Connor, both residing in Santa Barbara.

The Daily Mail published a series of photos, one showing Baumgartner, a 49-year-old fashion designer, dropping Connor off at his home.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Baumgartner and Connor have been linked. After being seen together during a summer vacation in Hawaii last July, Baumgartner was questioned about their relationship during her divorce proceedings.

Baumgartner denied Connor being her boyfriend, stating he slept in a separate room during their vacation. However, the Mail reports that they took a second trip to Hawaii in December.

Baumgartner’s attorney confirmed that Josh had lent her $20,000 last summer during the turmoil of her divorce from Costner.

According to the Mail, Connor has been divorced since January 2023 and has three children with his ex-wife.
