Brooks & Dunn Just Confirmed What Country Fans Have Been Waiting 19 Years to Hear “New Music Is Ready And ON THE WAY!”

For nearly two decades, Brooks & Dunn fans have been waiting for something they thought might never happen again: a brand-new album of original music. Now, that wait may finally be coming to an end.

The country legends are back on the road with their Neon Moon Tour, but an unexpected four-word message from Ronnie Dunn has fans buzzing about what could be coming next.

And it happened in the simplest way imaginable.

After Brooks & Dunn performed at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, a fan commented on social media about wanting new music from the duo.

Ronnie Dunn responded with a message that instantly got everyone’s attention:

“new music is ready and ON THE WAY !”

That’s it.

But for Brooks & Dunn fans, those words are huge.

The duo’s last album of completely original songs, Cowboy Town, was released on October 2, 2007.

Since then, Brooks & Dunn have remained a major force in country music, continuing to tour, perform their legendary hits and introduce their music to younger generations.

But their most recent studio projects have focused on revisiting their own catalog.

Their first REBOOT album arrived in 2019, bringing some of their biggest songs back with artists including Kacey Musgraves, Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett.

Then came REBOOT II in 2024, featuring another lineup of younger stars, including Lainey Wilson and Morgan Wallen.

Those projects proved just how powerful Brooks & Dunn’s songs still are.

But fans have been waiting for something different.

New Brooks & Dunn songs.

And Ronnie has actually been hinting at this possibility for years.

Back in 2024, he revealed that the duo had been steadily collecting songs for a new project and said the album was already around 75% finished.

At that point, there was no rush.

After decades of success, Brooks & Dunn could take their time.

Now, it sounds like that time may finally be over.

The numbers behind their career are staggering: 23 No. 1 hits and more than 30 million records sold.

Their music has become part of the fabric of country music, from “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” and “Neon Moon” to “My Maria,” “Believe” and countless other fan favorites.

And after 19 years without an album of brand-new original material, the possibility of hearing Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn return with completely new songs feels like a major moment.

There is still no official release date or full track list announced.

But Ronnie Dunn’s message made one thing clear:

New Brooks & Dunn music is ready — and it’s on the way.

After waiting almost two decades, country fans finally have a reason to get excited.
