Brad Pitt Sparks Romance Rumors at 60 with Familiar Face Post-Divorce

Brad Pitt was once considered the most eligible bachelor in the world, but that’s no longer the case.

Fans have long been aware of his relationship with Ines de Ramon, and the two are rumored to have planned a low-key week to celebrate his milestone 60th birthday.

After turning 60 on Monday, Pitt chose to keep the celebrations modest, according to PEOPLE. His decision to spend this special time with De Ramon highlights his commitment to her.

Actor Paul Wesley’s ex-wife, Ines de Ramon, has been described as “Brad’s first proper relationship since the divorce” from Angelina Jolie, according to a source who spoke with PEOPLE last month.

In fact, it’s reported that the Troy actor has started referring to the 32-year-old as his girlfriend.

A PEOPLE insider shared, “He introduces [Ines] as his girlfriend. Seeing him in a happy place is wonderful. Ines brings him much joy.”

Pitt’s journey back to happiness hasn’t been easy; his turbulent divorce from Angelina Jolie left scars that still seem to linger.

The A-list celebrities, famously dubbed “Brangelina” by the media, initially fell in love on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, igniting a romance that captivated global headlines. However, Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 citing irreconcilable differences and sought sole custody of their six children—Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne, and Knox.

In a publicized email dated January 21, 2021, Angelina Jolie informed Brad Pitt of her decision, expressing her intention to sell Miraval, a business primarily centered around alcohol. This could allude to the well-known incident on a plane where Pitt, allegedly intoxicated, was reported to have behaved aggressively towards their children.

Brad Pitt’s name resurfaced in the news in October for a less-than-flattering reason when an old Instagram story emerged featuring his adoptive son Pax referring to him as a “f****ing awful human being.” At sixteen years old, Pax expressed his discontent, stating, “the truth will come to light someday,” and condemning his father’s behavior.

The teenager’s sentiments were stark and raw: “You show no regard or compassion for your four youngest children, who shudder in terror when they are around you. Because you are incapable of understanding the harm you have caused to my family, you will never be able to comprehend it. You have turned those closest to me into a never-ending hell.” He concluded with a somber prediction: “You can tell the world and yourself anything you want, but eventually the truth will surface.”
