Touching Moments: A Toddler’s Potty Training Journey Moves His Dad to Tears

Potty training your child – a momentous milestone, but one that often comes with its fair share of challenges. The tears, tantrums, and uproar, and that’s just from the parents.

Indeed, potty training can be a daunting task, but it’s not an insurmountable one. In fact, when viewed from the right perspective, it can even be somewhat enjoyable.

Dani and Matt DiVito can attest to this. While in the process of teaching their little boy the ropes of using the big boy potty, they got more than they bargained for – all caught on camera.

The pivotal moment arrived when the father innocently asked his son if he had pooped. The response was nothing short of a surprise: “I didn’t poop, I peed!” The young boy’s peculiar tone could make you wonder if it was dubbed into the video, but the father later confessed that it was just his son’s way of trying to tickle his funny bone.

And tickle it did! His dad burst into laughter so contagious that he found himself shedding tears. This, however, worried his little boy, who feared his father was sad.

It took a bit of reassurance to convey that his father’s tears were of the joyful kind. Once this was clarified, they continued with their amusing potty training banter.
