The tribute comes after Dolly’s passing on August 25, and it offers The Voice an opportunity to recognize an artist whose influence reaches far beyond country music.

Dolly also has a connection to the show itself. Back in Season 9 in 2015, she worked with all four coaches as a mentor, sharing her experience and advice with the contestants. Her appearance remains a memorable part of the show’s history.
