Ella Langley and Tucker Wetmore Reportedly Dating And Their Nashville Night Has Fans Talking

Ella Langley and Tucker Wetmore are reportedly more than just friends — and their relationship may have been going on much longer than fans realized.

According to TMZ, the two country stars have been dating for “quite some time” after meeting through mutual friends and the music industry. The report comes after the pair were spotted leaving the Nashville Songwriter Awards together Tuesday night. Multiple sources also confirmed the relationship to PEOPLE on Sept. 23.

The Nashville Night That Sparked New Attention

The timing couldn’t have been more interesting.

On Sept. 22, Langley and Wetmore attended the ninth annual Nashville Songwriter Awards at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Langley was there celebrating a major career milestone after “Choosin’ Texas” was honored with Song of the Year alongside co-writers Luke Dick, Miranda Lambert and Joybeth Taylor.

After the event, the two were seen leaving together through a side entrance. TMZ reports that Langley waved to fans before getting into a vehicle with Wetmore by her side.

And that wasn’t the only reason the night was significant for Langley.

“Choosin’ Texas” Just Made History

Langley’s massive hit “Choosin’ Texas” had reached its 23rd week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, surpassing the previous record of 22 weeks held by Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” according to reports.

That means Langley had plenty to celebrate — and according to the reports, Wetmore was there with her.

For an artist experiencing one of the biggest stretches of her career, having someone special by her side made the Nashville celebration even more interesting for fans.

The Rumors Actually Started Months Ago

Tuesday night’s appearance wasn’t the first time Langley and Wetmore had been connected.

Romance speculation began back in December 2025, when the two were spotted together at the Soggy Dollar Bar in the British Virgin Islands. Their appearances and social media activity at the time led fans to wonder whether there was something more going on between them.

The pair also shared a stage in March 2026 at the Heart Strings for Hope Benefit Concert, where they performed Wetmore’s song “Sunburn.”

At the time, however, neither singer publicly confirmed that they were in a relationship.

Now, reports from TMZ and PEOPLE say the two have been dating for some time.

While TMZ reported that Langley and Wetmore are dating and PEOPLE cited multiple sources confirming the relationship, the singers themselves have not publicly announced their relationship.

That distinction is important, especially since the two had been the subject of dating speculation before.
