Jalapeño Popper Crescent Roll Ring
|Ingredients:
2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced jalapeño peppers
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Optional: green onions, sliced for garnish
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a ring, with the short sides forming a circle in the center, overlapping slightly.
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, bacon, and garlic powder.
Spoon the mixture onto the wide ends of each dough triangle.
Fold the narrow ends of the triangles over the filling, tucking them under to form a ring.
Brush the dough with beaten egg.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Garnish with sliced green onions if desired. Serve warm.
