The two-hour live special will feature Ashley McBryde, Béla Fleck, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Ella Langley, Kelsea Ballerini, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Lady A, Lainey Wilson, Little Big Town, Lukas Nelson, Molly Tuttle, Reba McEntire, Ricky Skaggs, Sierra Hull, Vince Gill and Zac Brown.
And there are even more special guests joining the celebration. Amy Grant and Kimberly Williams-Paisley will appear as special guests, while a Belmont University student ensemble will also take part in one of the performances. The CMA says additional surprise tributes from friends across the entertainment world will also be featured.
The special will air live Wednesday, October 21, from 9–11 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with the program available on Hulu the following day. It will be filmed before a live audience at Belmont University’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts in Nashville.
But this night is about much more than simply remembering Dolly’s greatest songs.
It is a celebration of the woman behind them — her extraordinary career, her generosity, her influence and the generations of artists she inspired. And with so many of country music’s biggest names gathering to sing her music, the evening is expected to be filled with emotional performances and unforgettable moments.
There is also a beautiful connection to Dolly’s lifelong mission: proceeds from the special will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, continuing the legacy of giving that was so important to her.
Dolly may no longer be here to take the stage herself, but on October 21, her songs will fill a Nashville stage once again — this time through the voices of the artists she inspired.
And with Reba, Carrie, Vince, Ricky, Ella, Lainey, Brad and so many more coming together for Dolly, this could be one of the most emotional tributes country music has ever seen.
