RaeLynn Files for Divorce After 10 Years of Marriage, Calls It “One of the Hardest Decisions” of Her Life
Country music fans are heartbroken after learning that RaeLynn and her husband, Josh Davis, are ending their marriage after more than a decade together.
The “Queens Don’t” singer has officially filed for divorce, describing the decision as one that came only after “much thought and prayer.”
The couple, who married in 2015, share a daughter, Daisy Rae, who turns five later this year.
“This Has Not Been an Easy Decision”
In an emotional statement shared with fans, RaeLynn opened up about the difficult choice.
“After much thought and prayer, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” she wrote.
She added that her focus now is on providing love, stability, and support for their daughter as they begin this new chapter.
“As a working mom, I am committed to giving my daughter the love, stability, and support she will need while we navigate this next chapter together.”
RaeLynn also thanked her family, friends, and fans for their continued encouragement while asking for privacy during this difficult time.
A Love Story That Began in Church
RaeLynn and Josh first met through church before reconnecting a few years later.
After she famously reached out to him through social media, their relationship quickly grew, and the couple married in July 2015.
Over the years, fans watched them build a life together through military deployments, country music tours, and eventually parenthood.
Josh later enlisted in the U.S. Army, and RaeLynn often spoke about how the time apart only strengthened their marriage.
A Song Inspired by Divorce
