Cody Johnson Racks Up Four CMA Nominations — and Scores His First Entertainer of the Year Nod

Country star Cody Johnson is riding high this year, earning four nominations at the 2025 CMA Awards, including his very first nod for the coveted Entertainer of the Year award.

Johnson is also nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, and two additional nods for his collaboration with Carrie Underwood on “I’m Gonna Love You” — one for Musical Event of the Year and another for Music Video of the Year. With these nominations, Cody’s CMA total climbs to 15 in his career, cementing his place among country music’s elite.

“It’s truly an honor to be recognized at this level,” Cody said in a statement following the CMA announcement.
