Miranda Lambert gave fans in Lovington, New Mexico, a night to remember—both for her powerhouse performance and for one unexpected moment.

As part of the Lea County Fair and Rodeo’s 2025 Summer Concert Series, Lambert took the stage on August 9 at the Lea County Fairgrounds. The fair had already hosted country favorites like Randy Houser and Midland, but it was Lambert’s turn to light up the crowd. “My official statement is people throw things at artists and they’re idiots,” Bryan said. “It’s the deterioration of the moral fabric of how your a** ought to act. This is not a new thing. That was a great thing to get thrown at me. It was a little beach ball. I’ve had $1,100 cell phones get thrown at me.”
